The Passage needs your help

Night Under the Stars is devoted to helping the work of The Passage. The services provided by The Passage all need a great deal of resources: The Passage employs around 90 professional staff. In addition, a pool of more than 400 volunteers helps to provide services seven days a week and to keep Passage House open 24-hours a day, 365-days a year.

The annual running costs of The Passage are about £4.5 million, only 30% of which is funded by statutory grants. The Passage depends on voluntary contributions to meet the remaining costs. Because of the tremendous support from volunteers and businesses, 94p in every £1 that is raised goes direct to frontline services.

Every gift, no matter how small, will help us enable a homeless person to gain a renewed sense of self-respect and hope for the future.

What your donation can achieve

£20 pays for our trained staff to give a homeless person a much-needed advice session.
£150 supports someone who has returned to work for the first week of the period they are waiting to be paid.
£600 covers basic bread and breakfast, travel to work, and food at work for for four weeks until someone is paid.
£1,200 subsidises the cost of meals in the Resource Centre for one week.

Together with our Night Under The Stars concert, our 2017 target for donations is £8,000.
